School’s Public Speaking Competition Kicks Off Today

This year the Lions Club South’s FLOW 2016 Secondary Schools’ Public Speaking Competition will give eighteen students from secondary schools throughout the country the opportunity to debate a number of topical issues.

There will be a Preliminary Round of competition on October 11th and 12th at the Frenches House in Kingstown, commencing at 1 PM daily.

Junior Bacchus, Representative of the Lion’s Club South, said the competition will kick off with presentations from Zone One schools and then followed by presentations by Zone Two schools.

Meanwhile, Wayne Hull, Country Manager of FLOW said that they pleased to be associated with the Lions Club South’s FLOW 2016 Secondary Schools’ Public Speaking Competition and also noted that the organization has provided sponsorship to the competition for over 25 years.

Mr. Hull said he is hopeful that the partnership will continue to the benefit of the nation’s youth.
