For the first time in the history of the SDA Mission, the Youth Directors of the General Conference, Inter-American Division and the Caribbean Union, will visit the island simultaneously.

The SDA Mission in a release sated;

“They plan to visit our shores on February 17th and 18th. On the 17th, we plan to have a grand reception, march, rally and consultation. We are asking all uniform personnel to be present at the Anglican Car Park for 4 p.m., where the march will commence. The march will conclude at the car park of the Russell’s Auditorium. This will be followed by an inspection of a small contingent of uniformed persons. Then, we move to the auditorium for the consultation which begins at 5:30 p.m. Everyone – all pastors, Elders, Youth Leaders, Master Guides, Pathfinders, and members – is invited to the consultation. It will be a time for the Youth Directors to interact with the Adventist population here in SVG. Come prepared to share and learn, as we present an excellent showing. I am hoping that we can fill the entire auditorium that evening. I am asking our leaders to make transportation arrangements for your churches. This may never happen again in our lifetime, and we would like it to be a memorable experience”.

On the 18th, the visiting Directors will be making a few courtesy visits to some of the schools before attending the official launch of the Youthful Honey project.

The launch program will begin at 2 p.m. at the Belmont church grounds. The directors from the Division and the General Conference will unveil a sign which will be part of the official launch of the project, as well as a way to commemorate their visit in a tangible and permanent way. They will then depart St Vincent the same evening for Grenada.
