The execution of a search warrant at the home of Lamont Hector at Paul’s Avenue on Wednesday, October 25th, 2017 by members of the Rapid Response Unit had led to the discovery of eight rocks of cocaine which resulted in the arrest of Hector and his common-law wife Natalia Millington.
When the duo appeared at the Kingstown Magistrate Court before Senior Magistrate Bertie Pompey on Wednesday Hector entered a plea of guilty while Millington maintained her innocence.
After the presenting of the case Court Prosecutor Corleen Samuel withdrew the charges against Millington.
Hector was fined $900.00 of which $450.00 was to be paid forthwith in default a three months jail term will be imposed.
The balance is to be paid in two weeks time or an additional 3 months will be imposed.
