This country’s Senior Magistrate Rickie Burnett, has sent out a strong warning to persons who have matters listed down for trial to be presided over by him, to desist from trying to come to his home to discuss such matters.

This warning was sent out on Friday, June 1st, 2018 while presiding at the Kingstown Magistrate Court on Criminal Matters.

Justice Burnett pointed out that on Thursday, May 31st, 2018 it was reported to him by his wife, that while she was at home, a female came to see him to discuss a case.

The magistrate said that he was glad that he was not at home and urged would-be offenders not to contact him personally or by way of telephone regarding any matters before his Court.
