The Police have launched an investigation into the shooting of 37-year-old Jomarley Cyrus, a 37 year old Sea Captain of Lodge Village.
Preliminary investigations has revealed that on October 25, 2023 about 2:00 a.m., the victim was shot about his body with a gun by two (2) unidentified masked men in Lodge Village. Cyrus is currently a patient at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital (MCMH).
Persons with useful information that can aid with the investigation are asked to call 911/999, or contact the Officer in charge of the Criminal Investigations Department/Major Crimes Unit at 1784-456-1810; or any police Station; or Police Officer you are comfortable with.
All information will be dealt with confidentially. Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
