St Lucia govt says gas, diesel will remain at $16.75

In keeping with the modified fuel price pass-through mechanism, the Government of Saint Lucia has maintained the retail prices of fuel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) products for the period June 22 to July 12, 2026.

Under the current fuel pricing cycle, the retail prices of gasoline, diesel, kerosene and LPG products will remain unchanged.

Gasoline and diesel will remain at $16.75 per imperial gallon ($3.68 per litre), while kerosene will remain at $10.41 per imperial gallon ($2.29 per litre).

The retail prices of LPG products will also remain unchanged, with the 20-pound cylinder remaining at $34.00, the 22-pound cylinder at $38.00, the 100-pound cylinder at $288.50 and bulk LPG at $2.76 per pound.

Government support remains in place on diesel, kerosene and LPG products to help cushion the impact of international price fluctuations on consumers and businesses.

During the current pricing period, diesel continues to receive a subsidy of $0.12 per imperial gallon, while kerosene continues to receive a subsidy of $3.72 per imperial gallon.

The Government also continues to subsidise LPG products, contributing $30.56 per 20-pound cylinder, $33.02 per 22-pound cylinder, $34.30 per 100-pound cylinder, and $0.34 per pound of bulk LPG.

These measures continue to provide stability for households and businesses across Saint Lucia while helping to keep cooking gas affordable for consumers.

Under the modified fuel price pass-through mechanism, fuel prices are reviewed every three weeks.
