Caribbean’s Leading Green Destination For the Third Consecutive Year
St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) has another reason to celebrate! The destination has been named Caribbean’s Leading Green Destination 2026 at the World Travel Awards, securing the title for the third consecutive year, following wins in 2024 and 2025.
Adding to this national pride, Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has won Caribbean’s Leading All-Inclusive Resort 2026, bringing further regional recognition to the destination’s hospitality offering.
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA) proudly celebrates these achievements, which place the destination’s natural appeal and hospitality excellence in the spotlight. They offer a powerful invitation to travellers to discover our islands and experience the people, places and experiences that make them special.
The Green Destination title provides a meaningful platform for the Authority’s focus on eco, marine and cultural experiences. It reinforces the importance of inviting visitors to explore responsibly, connect with communities and appreciate the natural surroundings that are central to the destination’s appeal
Alongside the two Caribbean titles, tourism properties and an operator within SVG secured 12 awards in the national categories for 2026:
- Sandals Saint Vincent and the Grenadines: Leading All-Inclusive Resort and Leading Wedding Hotel.
- Bequia Beach Hotel: Leading Beach Hotel and Leading Hotel.
- Soho Beach House Canouan: Leading Boutique Hotel.
- Mandarin Oriental, Canouan: Leading Resort and Leading Hotel Suite, awarded to its Two-Bedroom Oceanview Suite.
- The Cotton House: Leading Luxury Hotel Villa, awarded to The Residence.
- Grenadine Hills: Leading Luxury Private Villa, awarded to Villa ONE.
- Petit St. Vincent: Leading Private Island Resort.
- Island Fever Tours S.V.G.: Leading Tour Operator.
- Canouan Estate Resort & Villas: Leading Villa Resort.
