Prime Minister Godwin Friday says Port in Campden Park will resume operations from today (9 December).
Friday made the announcement after a visit to the newly built Kingstown Port on Monday.
The Prime Minister said this will ensure that families receive their barrels for Christmas and that merchants are able to stock their stores.
Port Campden Park, which was closed in October 2025, previously served as the primary cargo hub for critical imports including barrels, containers, and bulk shipments.
The port was closed following the commissioning of the New Kingstown Port.
