Hotel development, Air Transport, Education and Zero Hunger initiatives are among the discussions taking place between Prime Minister Gonsalves and officials of the Qatar Government.
Gonsalves who spoke with News784 from Qatar said that plans to develop the city of ArnosVale are currently under discussions as well.
He told News784 that 3 agreements have been signed so far including, Civil Aviation, Legal Affairs, and a Communique signalling the establishment of diplomatic communications.
Gonsalves said both countries have been working together but the formal diplomatic ties have now been established.
The Prime minister said he would hold meetings with the Qatar foundation on Wednesday 22nd March, a state institution that deals with tertiary education and cultural matters.
Gonsalves noted also that they have been ramping up their foreign policy with the UAE in connection with the Kuwait fund for Arab Economic Development.
