A five-day celebration of Vincentian culture, creativity, and entrepreneurship officially kicks off today as the Independence Night Market opens at Heritage Square.
Organized by the National Independence Committee and the Department of Culture, with support from Invest SVG, the event forms part of a national initiative to renew patriotism and cultural pride throughout the Independence season.
Running from Friday, October 23, through Tuesday, October 27, the Night Market serves as an extra feature on the holiday weekend calendar.
It provides a central venue for local residents, visiting tourists, and returning nationals from the diaspora to reconnect and sample Vincentian food, craft, music, and hospitality. Each evening, Heritage Square will fill with live music, local cuisine, entertainment, and exhibitor showcases spotlighting local artisans and entrepreneurs.
Members of the public are encouraged to stop by after work or bring their families to enjoy the festivities and support local businesses.
