Jermalie John elected Deputy House Speaker
Ronnia Durham-Balcombe has been elected speaker of the House of Assembly in St Vincent and the Grenadines.
Durham- Balcombe will now serve as speaker under the New Democratic Party government, which won the 2025 election on November 27.
The Deputy Speaker-Elect is Senator Jemalie John. Lawyer Chelsea Alexander was also appointed Senator on Tuesday afternoon.
