St Vincent’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Hon. Fitzgerald Bramble addressed reports circulating in media outlets concerning the suspension of visa processing for citizens of 75 countries, including St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

Regarding this matter, the Minister provided the following updates and insights:

No Official Notification: He stated that the government has not been officially informed by the US Embassy in Barbados (which serves the Eastern Caribbean) or by any other US government official regarding this alleged suspension.

Active Inquiries: Although they lack official confirmation, the Minister noted that they are following the reports and have been contacting officials at the US Embassy in Barbados as well as the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Embassy in Washington, D.C. to determine exactly what is happening.

Bramble promised to inform the general public as soon as official details come to hand.
