POLICE INVESTIGATING REPORTS OF KIDNAPPING; ONE PERSON IN CUSTODY, ONE AT LARGE
On Monday, December 29, 2025, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF) received reports of kidnapping involving two victims.
At approximately 1:30 a.m. on December 29, 2025, two unknown masked men allegedly took a 31-year-old female and a 17-year-old minor, both from Edinboro, from Arnos Vale to Belair without their consent or any lawful authority. It is further reported that the minor was wounded during the incident.
Police identified and approached a motor vehicle suspected to be involved, located along the Belair Public Road.
During the police approach, the occupants fired shots in the direction of the officers. One individual subsequently exited the vehicle holding what appeared to be a rifle and fled on foot.
Three persons exited the vehicle. One individual was apprehended and is now in police custody assisting with investigations, while another suspect remains at large.
A WANTED bulletin has been issued for Jamal McMaster, who is considered armed and extremely dangerous. The public is strongly advised not to approach him and to contact the authorities with any information.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 784-456-1810, Police Control at 784-457-1211, 999 or 911, or the nearest police station. The suspect is urged to surrender himself to the police immediately. Investigations are ongoing.
