The SVG Meteorological Services is monitoring the progress of a tropical wave located over the West coast of Africa.
The latest forecast model guidance suggests that any development of this system is expected to be slow while it moves westward to west-northwestward at 15 to 20 mph across the Atlantic.
This system is forecast to pass north of SVG late next week.
