Information coming to hand is that Opposition Leader Arnhim Eustace will step down ,and will not seek re-election at the party’s upcoming Convention.
Details surrounding this came to light Tuesday night after a high-level meeting with the party’s top officials.
It is not clear as to when a new Leader of the Opposition would be chosen, but it was stated that Dr. Godwin Friday may take over the reins of Opposition Leader.
No public pronouncement has been made by Mr. Eustace; however, Senator Julian Francis said on Star FM earlier Tuesday night that he heard rumors of Mr. Eustace Resignation.
