The rollout of personalised stickers is the first phase of a broader digital roadmap by the St Vincent Inland Revenue Department.

By March, the Department will launch a fully integrated online system for motor vehicle and driver’s license renewals.

This workflow will eliminate the need for physical paperwork; garage personnel will input inspection data directly into the IRD-linked computer system, allowing taxpayers to complete their insurance verification and payment from the comfort of their homes before simply picking up their stickers.

Furthermore, the IRD is moving to “ditch the line” by decentralizing printing capabilities to ensure geographic equity.

Direct printing access for stickers will soon be expanded across the island at revenue offices, including:

• Barrouallie and Georgetown (Mainland)

• Bequia, Canouan, and Union Island (Grenadines)

By providing residents of the Grenadines and rural mainland areas with the same real-time access to tax systems as the capital, the Department is removing longstanding bureaucratic barriers to government services.
