- Romano Andrews Arrested, Charged In Connection With Murder of Jovanne Baptiste
The St. Vincent police have achieved a significant advancement in the investigation of the 2023 murder of Jovanne Baptiste from Rose Place. Baptiste was fatally shot in Buccament while heading to his workplace.
Trevor Bailey, the Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police, officially declared the apprehension of Romano Andrews and the formal charge of murder against Andrews in relation to the homicide that occurred on September 7, 2023.
Baptiste, who was 29 years old at the time of his demise, was employed at the construction site of Sandals Beaches Resort in Buccament Bay.
Baptiste sustained approximately 16 gunshot wounds in the vicinity of Seventh Day Adventist Primary School.
