The government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines has officially authorized the reinstatement of public workers who lost their jobs due to previous vaccine mandates.

Individuals who were originally classified as having abandoned their positions are now encouraged to report back to their respective department heads or the Chief Personnel Officer.

This initiative requires eligible personnel to return to their duties in person by January 30, 2026.

Additionally, the administration is currently finalizing the placement of returning staff into appropriate roles within the public service sector.

This policy shift marks a significant effort to reintegrate employees who were displaced by the specific health regulations established in 2021.
