Richland Park Government School celebrated the opening of a new computer lab featuring technology donated by past student Miss Tacilia Williams.
The donation was provided through the TCW Foundation, which was established 10 years ago with the goal of helping children in need with school supplies.
The contribution includes a complete operational setup consisting of 11 computers with CPUs and monitors, keyboards, mice, flash drives, mouse pads, and chairs.
To ensure the school had everything necessary to begin immediately, the foundation also supplied a printer along with printing paper and an extra toner cartridge.
School representatives expressed strong excitement about the new facility and its role in modern education. Staff noted that many students currently lack motivation, and educators intend to integrate technology into daily lessons to support the rollout of a new digital curriculum.
With the new equipment in place, school leadership expects positive developments and great outcomes for Richland Park going forward.
