On July 5, 1811, José Antonio Rodríguez, the then President of Congress, declared Venezuela independent of the Spanish empire.
The Bolivarian people will celebrate across the South American country celebrating the 209th anniversary of Venezuela’s Independence Day on July 5th, 2020.
