Anthony Dennie, Product Development Officer of the NLA on Thursday shared significant financial updates, details regarding a historic “Play 4” winner, and an urgent appeal for an unclaimed jackpot winner.

Dennie announced a historic handover of $499,200 to a resident of Belair, Andrew Williams. He described this payout as “unprecedented” and the first of its kind in the history of the NLA. He provided a detailed breakdown of how the winnings were calculated based on the numbers 9778:

Inline Bet: A 48 bet that accounted for $240,000.

Backup Bet: A 96 bet (consisting of both inline and mixed components) amounted to $259,200.

Total: The cumulative prize was $499,200, just $800 short of half a million dollars.

Dennie noted that Williams had been playing these specific numbers for over two years, describing the win as a “huge investment” that finally “paid dividends”.

The PDO reported that the past year was highly successful for the NLA, with revenue surpassing $98 million Eastern Caribbean dollars. He highlighted several specific milestones:

Record Sales: The previous month saw record-breaking sales of nearly 10 million (9.7 million).

Growth: In the first five months of the current financial year (which runs August to July), the NLA recorded $44 million in revenue, compared to $37 million during the same period the previous year.

Dennie also made an appeal for the winner of the unclaimed share of a $1.4 million Super Six jackpot from December 30th. While winners from St. Lucia, Dominica, and Grenada had already come forward, the winner from St. Vincent and the Grenadines had not.

The winning numbers are 4, 7, 10, 19, 25, and 27 and Dennie reminded the public that there is a 180-day (six-month) waiting period to claim prizes.
