Police probes suspected drowning of 17-yro from Cedars

An inquiry has been initiated by the St. Vincent Police Force (RSVGPF) on the suspected drowning of Javid Clarke, a 17-year-old resident of Cedars.

Based on an initial inquiry, Clarke departed from his home at approximately 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 30th, for Cedars Beach.

According to the authorities, he experienced problems and submerged underwater while bathing around 2 p.m. later that day.

The divers from the SVG Coast Guard, in collaboration with the police officers from the Biabou Police Station, made many searches; nonetheless, the body remains unlocated and unrecovered.

Clarke is a student of the North Union Secondary school.
