Minister of Culture and Sports H E Salah bin Ghanem Al Ali met yesterday with Minister of Economic Planning of Saint Vincent and The Grenadines Camillo Gonsalves, currently visiting the country.
During the meeting, the two sides signed a cooperation agreement in the cultural field. The two sides also reviewed the bilateral relations and aspects of mutual cooperation in the fields of culture and sports, and ways of enhancing them.
His Excellency the Minister of Culture and Sports stressed the importance of promoting the cultural relations between the two countries and increasing the cultural exchange in the field of arts, literature and translation to achieve the interests of both countries.
The Minister stressed the need to encourage intellectuals and writers in both countries and enable them to play a greater role and enter into successful strategic partnerships that will push forward the cultural relations between the two countries.
For his part, HE Minister Camillo Gonsalves praised the agreement and thanked the Ministry of Culture and Sports for its cooperation in developing the relations between the two countries in the cultural field.
