St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC) in collaboration with the Ministry of Health, Wellness and the Environment is hosting a vaccination drive (today) – Friday 5th November, at its Villa campus, from 9:00, am.

Director of the SVGCC, Mr Nigel Scott, said; “We recognise the global challenges presented by COVID-19 and neither St. Vincent and the Grenadines nor the Community College, are exempt from these challenges. We, therefore, deem it important to host this activity, as we have a societal and institutional responsibility to actively combat the spread of COVID-19.

Scientific evidence shows that vaccines work, and as an institution deeply supportive of science-based knowledge, as evidenced by our expanding Science department, we are offering our support by hosting this vaccination drive”.

The SVGCC is inviting the public to its on-campus vaccination event at its Villa campus between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

College officials reiterated that participation in Friday’s drive is voluntary.
