St Vincent and the Grenadines is in the process of developing a National Adaptation Plan (NAP) and associated strategies with assistance from the UNDP Japan-Caribbean Climate Change Partnership (JCCCP) and the Nap Global Network (NAP GN).
The Ministry of Finance, Economic Planning, Sustainable Development, and Information Technology in conjunction with the NAP GN and the UNDP-JCCCP will co-host a special session for the media.
The event will introduce local media to the country’s NAP and its priority sectors for adaptation.
Discussions will focus on several areas including how media can report on current and expected climate change impacts on the country and the importance of the NAP.
The event is scheduled to take place on 10 April, 2018 at the Blue Lagoon Hotel & Marina conference room from 1:30 p.m.
