A Joint police operation by the Grenada drug squad and the St Vincent and the Grenadines police on Monday 22nd January 2018, resulted in the seizure of 487 pounds of cannabis.
The joint seizure took place at Buccament beach on the leeward side of the island.
According to a release from the Office of the Commissioner of police, one fishing boat from Carriacou was also confiscated in the seizure.
No arrest has been made so far, investigations continue.
