Local law enforcement authorities in St Vincent and the Grenadines on Wednesday, seized a cache of guns and ammunition during a joint operation in the Diamond community.
Among the items seized were one .357 magnum revolver, two 12 gauge shotguns, 1 MK1 rifle and one Glock pistol.
Other items include a white mask, eight rounds of .9 Glock ammunitions, fifty-six rounds of 5.6 ammunitions, six shot gun rounds, three packages of fake money and two extended magazines.
At a press conference on Thursday 6th December 2018, Deputy Commissioner of Police Frankie Joseph told the media that five men are presently assisting police with their investigations.
No one has yet been charged in connection with Wednesday’s find. The men age from 20-40.
