Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Highlights New Marketing Framework at SOTIC 2026

The framework was presented by Director of Quality, Intelligence and Strategy, Aina Browne, during a media briefing on October 9 2026. the framework places the diversity of the destination’s 32 islands and cays at the heart of its promotional approach. It connects the country’s sailing waters, living traditions and volcanic landscapes through experiences that invite visitors to explore more of St. Vincent and the Grenadines and engage with the people who shape its identity.

Browne shared that for many travellers, that exploration begins on the water. Under the Marine Paradise pillar, the SVGTA is highlighting opportunities for sailing, yachting and island hopping across the Grenadines, including Bequia, Mustique, Canouan, Mayreau and Union Island. Snorkelling and diving in the Tobago Cays Marine Park, alongside visits to secluded coves and white sand beaches, further showcase the destination’s marine appeal.

She also highlighted that the journey between islands also introduces visitors to communities where culture is woven into everyday life. The Culture & Celebration pillar encourages travellers to participate in these experiences, from the music and creativity of Vincy Mas to the maritime traditions of the Bequia Easter Regatta. Nine Mornings, Garifuna heritage and Bequia’s longstanding tradition of artisanal boatbuilding offer further opportunities to connect with Vincentian history, craftsmanship and community celebrations.

That sense of discovery continues inland through Adventure and Nature. Mainland St. Vincent offers forest trails, waterfalls, rivers and volcanic black sand beaches, with La Soufrière providing a distinctive setting for volcanic exploration. The destination’s varied landscapes, flora and fauna also broaden the experiences available to visitors seeking outdoor adventure and an appreciation of the natural environment.

Browne said the three pillars provide a framework for communicating the range of experiences available throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines. They also offer travel advisors, media and tourism partners a clearer foundation for presenting the destination to travellers with different interests, from sailing and cultural immersion to nature and adventure.

Through this approach, the SVGTA is inviting visitors to discover the connections between the islands, their communities and their landscapes, and to experience the breadth of what St. Vincent and the Grenadines has to offer.
