SVG radiographer completes AI medical training in Taiwan

Mrs. Celeste Cumberbatch-Garrett, a radiographer serving in the public healthcare system of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, has successfully completed specialized training on AI-Based Medical Image Analysis in the Republic of China (Taiwan).

She primarily works at the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital.

The training program, which took place from June 4 to June 23, 2026, was sponsored by TaiwanICDF.

This initiative aligns with the Diplomatic Allies Prosperity Project, which focuses on advancing smart healthcare. Mrs. Cumberbatch-Garrett officially graduated from the program on June 23, 2026.

Designed to cultivate expertise in early disease detection and AI-driven risk assessment, the rigorous curriculum integrates deep learning applications, clinical validation, and image processing.

The knowledge and skills gained from this program empower healthcare professionals to streamline early interventions and significantly enhance diagnostic precision for their patients.
