The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of Calvert Pierre, 42yrs, labourer of Kelbourney which occurred at Belmont on 01.10.17.
Reports are that the deceased sustained gunshot wounds about his body and succumbed to his injuries. The shooting from initial reports occurred in the vicinity of the SDA Church in Belmont.
A postmortem examination is expected to be carried out to ascertain the cause of death.
