Executive Director of CDEMA, Elizabeth Riley, met with the Honourable St. Clair Leacock, Acting Prime Minister and Minister of National Security, Disaster Management and Immigration of St. Vincent and the Grenadines on June 2, 2026 to discuss national resilience priorities, regional cooperation and strengthening disaster management capabilities across the Caribbean.
Ms. Riley also paid a courtesy call to Commissioner of Police Enville Williams to discuss security sector engagement in disaster management, emergency preparedness and opportunities to strengthen regional readiness and response capabilities.
She also paid a courtesy call to St. Vincent and the Grenadines Red Cross Society and met with representatives including the President, Ms. Dora Athaline James to discuss community resilience, volunteer engagement and strengthening partnerships in support of disaster preparedness and recovery.
