The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA) has announced an exciting destination marketing partnership with the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, one of the leading franchises of the Caribbean Premier League (CPL), aimed at elevating the country’s profile as a premier Caribbean travel destination.

Under the partnership, the Patriots will carry the Discover St. Vincent & the Grenadines destination brand as Official Destination Partner throughout the 2026 CPL season, with the brand featured prominently on the franchise’s official playing apparel and across its digital and promotional platforms. The collaboration forms part of the Tourism Authority’s broader strategy to leverage sport as a powerful vehicle for destination marketing and to engage audiences across the Caribbean and internationally.

With millions of viewers tuning in to the Caribbean Premier League each year, the partnership provides Saint Vincent and the Grenadines with a unique opportunity to inspire travel, strengthen regional awareness, and position the destination before a highly engaged global audience. As a highlight of the partnership, the Patriots will bring one of their home matches to the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex in Saint Vincent on 8 August 2026.

Chief Executive Officer of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority, Shafia London, described the partnership as a strategic investment in the country’s tourism brand.

“This partnership is a strategic investment in the visibility of the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines brand. The Caribbean Premier League commands one of the largest and most passionate audiences in world cricket, and every time the Patriots take the field, our destination takes the field with them. Sport speaks to the heart of who we are as Vincentians, and we are especially proud to welcome the Patriots to Arnos Vale on 8 August, where fans will experience first-hand the warmth,

energy, and beauty that make Saint Vincent and the Grenadines unforgettable. We look forward to a season that inspires people across the region and around the world to come and discover us for themselves.”

Owner of the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots, Mahesh Ramani, welcomed the partnership and highlighted the shared vision between the franchise and the destination.

Cricket has a unique ability to bring people, islands and communities together, and this partnership reflects our shared commitment to showcasing the very best of the Caribbean. We are delighted to welcome Discover St. Vincent & the Grenadines as our Official Destination Partner.

“We are especially excited to host one of our home matches in Saint Vincent on 8 August and look forward to hearing fans across Arnos Vale roar the Patriots’ name. We hope this is the beginning of a long and successful partnership that creates lasting value.”

By aligning with one of the Caribbean’s most successful sporting brands, the destination aims to enhance its visibility, attract new visitors, and reinforce its reputation as a world-class location for leisure, adventure, sailing, culture, and sporting experiences.

As the 2026 CPL season unfolds, fans across the Caribbean and beyond will have the opportunity to experience the Saint Vincent and the Grenadines brand both on and off the field, further strengthening the country’s position as the Caribbean destination where unforgettable experiences await.
