1 Min Read

St Vincent and the Grenadines would have a new Attorney General likely before the end of 2022.

Speaking on the WEFM Issue at Hand programme on Sunday, Prime Minister Ralph Gonsalves said that he can confirm that a new AG will be appointed.

The current AG is  Jaundy Martin who was appointed in September 2017, replacing Judith Jones-Morgan who had retired.

Gonsalves said Martin’s contract comes to an end at the end of September.

“He wants to go and meet family overseas but I’ve asked him to stay on for at least another month. As you know I would have somebody in mind and would have spoken to that person already but am not ready to speak about that”, Gonsalves said.
