On April 7th, 2017 the Taraji Foundation was gifted with a donation of a 20ft container of tangible supplies including clothing, baby sanitary napkins, stationery kits and hygiene kits to commemorate our four (4) years of service from Latter Day Saints Charities to continue our humanitarian work across St Vincent and the Grenadines.
The Taraji Foundation seeks to assist youths in awakening their civic consciousness and becoming greater citizens while fostering community spiritedness, through active impactful activities and projects.
Taraji collects food, gently used and new clothing, shoes, personal care products, stationery, books, linens, toys etc. and shares with vulnerable children and families across St Vincent and the Grenadines.
After our handing over ceremony on Saturday 22nd April 2017 Taraji served over 100 children and families that are marginalised from in and around Kingstown.
Supplies were also donated to Non-Profit Organisations, Community Groups, Children’s Homes and Churches across the Island.
On Saturday 6th May 2017 we journeyed to Sandy Bay where we made three stops impacting families that were affected by the recent weather system.
As we continue to serve St Vincent and the Grenadines we want to implore the general public to get on board and donate their gently used items and make the journey with us across the Island one Community at a time to meet the needs of marginalised children and families.
