Three banned from driving for six months in SVG

The Traffic Department of the Royal Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force reports that Calbert Allick, Adolphus Harry, and Shakeem Williams, all of Campden Park, were convicted for the offence of Dangerous Driving, which occurred on 5th June 2026 along the Nelson Mandela Highway at Gibson Corner.

All three men were brought before the Serious Offences Court on 11th June 2026 and were convicted.

The court imposed a six (6) month disqualification from holding a Class D1 driver’s licence, preventing them from driving omnibuses or taxis during that period.

In addition, Adolphus Harry and Shakeem Williams were each fined $2,000.00, while Calbert Allick was fined $2,500.00.

These omnibuses operated on the Leeward side of the island.

Let this be a clear reminder: when you drive dangerously, you are not only risking lives, you are risking your licence, your income, and your reputation.

Six months off the road is a long time to think about one bad decision.

The Traffic Department remains committed to enforcing the law through patrols, roadside checks, and prosecutions. To all road users, especially public service vehicle operators: drive with discipline, respect your passengers, and respect the road.
