TOURISM OFFICER CHARGED WITH DAMAGE TO PROPERTY
On September 21, 2026, police arrested and charged Alicia Seales, a 57-year-old tourism officer of Calliaqua, with the offence of damage to property.
According to investigations, Seales allegedly, without lawful excuse, damaged two lengths of galvanised pipe valued at EC$139.48 and one galvanised fitting valued at EC$99.96, for a total value of EC$239.44.
The items belonged to a 50-year-old domestic worker of Calliaqua.
The offence was committed in Calliaqua on September 16, 2026.
Seales appeared before the Calliaqua Magistrate Court on September 22, 2026, where she pleaded guilty to the charge. She was placed on a bond for one year.
