Grenadian police are currently looking into what seems to be the unexplained death of a married couple who were vacationing on the island of Carriacou.
The visitors’ names and nationalities have not yet been made public by the police.
The husband reportedly passed away as the couple was enjoying the well-known Paradise Beach. The beach washes the village of L’Esterre on Carriacou.
It has been reported that the wife, who made an effort to help him, passed away and was declared deceased at Princess Royal Smart Hospital, the island’s primary hospital.
Residents on the sister island say Saturday’s incident comes at a time when the island was thrown into a state of shock following the killing of a 14-year-old female student on Friday.
Esther Patterson’s murder is also shrouded in mystery. She was a student at Hillsborough Secondary.
