Two charged With Wounding: Police Report

On 05.07.20, police have arrested and charged Derek Penniston, 23 years Taxi Operator of Hamilton, Bequia with wounding.

According to investigation, the accused allegedly unlawfully and maliciously wound a 43 year old labourer of Union Level, Bequia by beating him about his body with a piece of pipe causing actual bodily harm.

Penniston will appear before the Union Island Magistrate’sCourt to answer to the charge.

Meanwhile

Police have arrested and charged Cherrise Cuffy, a 41 year oldProgramme Assistant of South Rivers with wounding.  

Investigations revealed that the accused allegedly unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on a 20 year old unemployed of the same address by striking her with a glass bottle on her forehead. The incident occurred at South Rivers on 25.07.20.

The accused will appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer to the charge.
