This country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is working towards inviting personnel from the British Navy to visit this country in the coming weeks to recruit Vincentians.
Word of this came from Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves while speaking at a press conference on Monday November 28th 2016.
Dr Gonsalves stated that many Vincentians are applying to the British Navy and is having to face the high cost of travel to England. In many cases the 1st trip will be for a preliminary exams and may have to return to England if successful.
This upcoming visit to this country by the British Navy personnel will be for preliminary test where up to 100 Vincentian can be recruited.
