Police have arrested and charged Mark Bristol, 48 years old Mason of McCarthy, Carton Allen, 40 years old Diver of Union Island and Marvin Alexander, 43 years old Sea Captain of Diamond/Union Island with possession of Controlled Drugs with intent to supply (ii) Drug Trafficking and (iii) for attempting to export a Controlled Drug on 23.02.19.
The accused men were allegedly detained with two hundred and ninety-two thousand, three hundred and seventy-six (292,376) grammes of cannabis in their possession.
The men were subsequently charged for possession of Control Drugs with intent to supply it to another, for having in their possession (292,376) grammes of cannabis for the purpose of Drug Trafficking and for attempting to export.
The incident occurred at Fancy on 23.02.19.
The men are expected to appear before the Serious Offences Court to answer the charges.
