Kirk Da Silva an accountant by profession was selected as the NDP’S candidate for Marriaqua to contest the 2020 election.
From 29 delegates eligible to vote, Da Silva took 15, Bowman 2, Jackson 4 and Wyllie 8.
Da Silva was a potential candidate for the ULP in 2015 elections.
His selection will now have to be ratified by the party’s central committee.
