Valient Lady inaugural visit to St. Vincent

The island nation of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines celebrated the first arrival of the Valiant Lady, a prominent ship belonging to the Virgin Voyages fleet.

To honor this occasion, government officials and the ship’s captain participated in a formal plaque exchange, signaling a deepening professional bond between the country and the cruise line.

Government officials view this event as a testament to the region’s growing status as a sustainable and high-end travel destination capable of supporting modern infrastructure.

By welcoming these visitors, the government aims to stimulate the local economy through cultural exchange and increased patronage of small businesses and tours.

This strategic partnership highlights a national commitment to responsible tourism that balances economic growth with environmental protection.

In addition to Saint Vincent, this specific itinerary includes stops in:

• Tortola Island (British Virgin Islands)

• Bridgetown (Barbados)

• Basseterre (St. Kitts)

• St. Croix Island (US Virgin Islands)

Valient Lady was delivered to Virgin in July 2021 as the fleet’s second vessel and sailed her maiden voyage in March 2022 from Portsmouth.

At 110,000 GT and measuring 278 meters (912 ft) long for a capacity of 2,770 passengers, she was built with similar proportions to older sister ship Scarlet Lady.
