Venezuela accuses Trump of defaming its government
In New York on Tuesday, September 24th, Head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Venezuela, Jorge Arreaza, denounced the violation of the Charter of the United Nations Organization (UN) and the falsification of information against Venezuelan sovereignty by the President of the United States, Donald Trump.
In statements to the press, the Venezuelan Foreign Minister defined this document as sacred, while asserting that the US president respects not one of the postulates, principles or purposes contemplated in the aforementioned charter. In addition, Arreaza said that President Trump said during his speech at the UN that the current world is in the hands of free nations in direct respect of its people, a premise that he said is breached by the US head of state when engaging in interference.
ALBA members rejected US aggression against Venezuela through the TIAR
The member countries of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America (ALBA-TCP) on Monday rejected the new attacks launched from the United States (USA) against Venezuela, through the activation – illegally – of the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance (TIAR).
Similarly, they reiterated their condemnation of the sanctions imposed against Cuba, in order to generate a new diplomatic escalation between the two nations, “which leads to the closure of the Embassies in both countries”, as well as toughen the economic and financial blockade that governs the island for more than 50 years

PSUV deputies return to Venezuelan Parliament

President Maduro arrives in Russia to strengthen cooperation

FAO will collaborate with Venezuela in tropical forest recovery
The Government of Venezuela and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) signed a scientific-technological agreement to protect biodiversity and achieve the recovery of tropical forests in the South American country.

Venezuelan FANB oversees its military defense exercises

IVSS incorporated more than 8,000 pensioners in the country
A total of 8,297 older adults received their pensions throughout the country on Monday, from the National Government through the Venezuelan Institute of Social Security (IVSS).
