Venezuela denounces the continuity of the actions of neocolonialism, with the imposition of more than 927 coercive and illegal measures that have affected the normal functioning of the country’s economy, but remains firm and committed to the defense of Human Rights, highlighted the chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, when participated in the 52nd period of sessions of the Council of Human rights of the United Nations Organization (UN).
“These measures are the continuation of neocolonialism, and now they are implemented as political and economic weapons by the hegemonic countries to the peoples of the South, and to all those who do not agree with their perverse expansionist intentions, accompanied by shameful media campaigns, full of falsehoods, to criminalize governments, accuse legitimate authorities and organize failed assassinations and coups,” denounced the Venezuelan Foreign Minister before the Council.
During his speech, the Foreign Minister indicated that Venezuela continues to defend its commitment to Human Rights one year after the periodic review on this matter: “We reject and condemn the politicization that they intend to continue applying in this worthy council,” he claimed.

The majority in Colombia approves relations with Venezuela
An opinion study carried out in Colombia by the Invamer company showed that 75% of New Granadans support the reestablishment of relations with Venezuela, said Armando Benedetti, ambassador of the neighboring country on his twitter account.
“Do you agree or disagree that relations between Colombia and Venezuela have been reestablished? According to Invamer, 75% of Colombians are. And 52% trust that relations between the two countries will be more respectful and prosperous,” Benedetti published.
On the other hand, a survey carried out by the Latin American Strategic Center for Geopolitics (Celag) maintains that 65% of Colombians value positively the reopening of the border with Venezuela.

Venezuela rejects extension of US Executive Order
The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela rejected this Thursday the extension of the Executive Order of the United States (USA), issued in 2015 during the administration of Barack Obama; and that it declares the nation as an “unusual and extraordinary threat to the security” of the North American country.
Through his account twitter social network, The Minister for Foreign Relations, Yván Gil, stated that with the renewal of the Executive Order, “continuation is given to the criminal policy of aggression against our people through the imposition of Unilateral Coercive Measures.”
“From Venezuela we reject the extension of Executive Order 13962 of March 8, 2015, signed by the President of the United States, which gives continuity to the criminal policy of aggression against our people through the imposition of Unilateral Coercive Measures.”, he wrote in his account on the social network, accompanied by the statement.

We Will Always Remember Hugo Chavez: Russian FM Lavrov
On Friday, Russian Federation’s Foreign Affairs Minister Sergei Lavrov evoked the historical figure of Commander Hugo Chavez, the leader of the Bolivarian Revolution whose death anniversary Venezuelans will remember next Sunday.
“We pay tribute to Hugo Chavez, who passed away 10 years ago, leaving a deep mark not only in the history of his country and Latin American, but also in the history of the world community,” Lavrov said, pointing out that the late Venezuelan president was an unwavering defender of equality in international affairs.
“In his speeches and activities on the international scene, Hugo Chavez maintained a firm stance in favor of the need to respect the principles of the United Nations Charter and in favor of the inadmissibility of some countries submitting to the dictation and monopoly of others,” he added.

Venezuela and Türkiye establish alliances in electrical energy
Venezuela and Turkey reviewed cooperation agreements and exchanged different strategies related to projects in the field of electrical energy, with the purpose of bringing development and well-being to both peoples.

Venezuela expresses support at the UN to promote developing countries
Venezuela expressed its desire and willingness to support and contribute to the growth of developing countries to the highest representative of the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD).
The information was released, through his account on the social network Twitter, by the Chancellor of the Republic, Yván Gil, who this Wednesday held a meeting with the director of UNCTAD, Rebecca Grynspan. In the meeting, Gil expressed the desire of the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, to support the organization.
