The opening leg of the Caribbean Cup final will be officiated by FIFA-appointed referee Vincentian Moeth Gaymes on Thursday, November 30.
The Searchlight Newspaper reported that this recent appointment is another step up the ladder as he aspires to officiate at the top levels of Concacaf contests, including the Gold Cup and Scotiabank Champions League”.
Gaymes, who is a member of Concacaf’s Targeted Advanced Referee Programme, believes that his advancement will motivate other Football referees to achieve and even surpass him, the publication stated.
The final will take place at the Franklin Essed Stadion in Parimaibo, Suriname, and will pit club – Robin Hood versus Cavalier of Jamaica.
