Vincentian Woman Stabbed To Death In South London

A woman of Vincentian parentage living in South London,  has become that city 58th murder victim for 2018.

News784 was told that the woman is Samantha Clarke whose relatives hails from the community of Calder.

Police say she was stabbed to death in Brixton, south London, shortly after 6.30pm on Sunday 15th April, 2018.

Clarke, 38, was killed days after celebrating her son Joshua’s 14th birthday. She also died on a night that saw two fatal attacks in London within 36 minutes.

It is reported that the hotel assistant general manager, who worked at a former coaching inn in Henley, had been spending time off with her family when she was attacked.

According to news reports despite the efforts of paramedics, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say they were quizzing a 24-year-old man, named locally as Jordan Clarke, who is thought to be Mrs Clarke’s nephew.

Her husband Paul said: ‘She was a loving mum. Everything she did was for her son.

Neighbours claim the victim was killed in a domestic row.

The murder of Clarke comes after a wave of fatal stabbings and shootings that saw London suffer more murders than New York in a single month for the first time.
