Vincentians Charged In Connection With Drug Bust

(ANTIGUA) – The Office of National Drug and Money Laundering Control Policy (ONDCP) in Antigua has charged four Vincentian nationals held in a counter-narcotics operation in the Falmouth Area where 4.13 kilograms of cocaine and 2.88lbs of cannabis were seized on Tuesday.

Bertail M. Roberts and Nicholas Thomas of St. Vincent have been charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to transfer, and being concerned in the supply of cocaine.

Thomas and Roberts also face Immigration violation charges for entering the state illegally.

Glenroy Fitzroy Pierre and Wonderley Lavia, both Vincentian nationals who reside in the Falmouth area, have been jointly charged with possession of cannabis and being concerned in the supply of cannabis.

All four are expected to appear in St. John’s Magistrate court to answer to the charges.
