Over 30 dogs displaced due to the La Soufriere volcano eruption in St Vincent and the Grenadines arrived in the USA earlier this month and already some have already been adopted by their new owners to be taken to their new forever home.
The rehoming of these Caribbean canines was made possible through a move facilitated by the Vincentian Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (VSPCA) and the Wings of Rescue charitable organisation which is based in California.
The VSPCA in an update on Friday said after over 30 Vincy dogs flew to its shelter and rescue partner in Florida, the Humane Society of Tampa, it is happy to report that all the dogs are doing great and many have already found wonderful forever homes and have been adopted.
