St Vincent and the Grenadines hosted the WINFA 2019 football championships. Team SVG dubbed VINCY HEAT was unbeaten in this year’s competition played at the Victoria Park.
The local team played 4 games winning 3 and drawing 1 which earned them 10 points to cop the title.
Barbados placed 2nd with 3 wins, and 1 loss to net 9 points. 3rd was Dominica with 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses to end with 4 points.
Defending champs Grenada placed 4th having the same points standing as Dominica with 1 win, 1 draw and 2 losses but they scored one less goal. St. Lucia took the cellar position without a win in the competition with 1 point.
The Vincentian goal keeper Jadiel Chance received the Most Outstanding Goalkeeper award.
