A Waste Management Project will be launched on Wednesday in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The project with funding from the Australian Direct Aid Program will be carried out by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College.
Phase one of the project will focus on the reduction of waste material through the proper separation of waste, which can lead to a cleaner more sustainable environment, while phase two of the project will focus on Composting and Backyard Gardens on the grounds of the various divisions of the Community College
The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Community College will be working along with their social partner, the Tandem College located in the United Kingdom and the SVG National Parks.
The project launch will take place at the Villa campus.
